1982 40th Birthday On This Day Personalised Crossword Print

You choose any date in 1982 and we use it to create a unique 'on the day you were born' crossword print showing events from history that happened on the same date but in different years.  For example, if you choose 2nd November 1982, we'll fill your crossword print with events that took place on 2nd November in different years.

This print is a great gift for anyone turning 40 in 2022. And it's really personal too, because you can customise the crossword clue for 1982. You might add a clue like 'Harry Manning (world's grumpiest dad) is born' or 'Joe Spinner, world's best uncle, is born'. 

Imagine the surprise when whoever you're giving your print to sees their own date of birth on the crossword!

A mix of different events will appear on your crossword. There will be at least 20 dates, including historically important events, dates on which famous people were born or died, events from music and entertainment, and any other interesting dates we come across while researching your date.

The date appears at the bottom of the print, as a title, and the year, 1982, is shown in larger text than the other years in the crossword grid. The age, 40, appears in large, pale grey text behind the crossword clues.

• canvas prints for UK and non-UK delivery have slightly different specifications:

1. UK delivery canvas prints: printed on high quality 280gsm matt canvas, wrapped and stretched on a chunky 38mm pine box frame (frame not visible from the front of the print), canvas has corner wedges and a dentate (sawtooth) hanger, individually bubble-wrapped for protection in transit. 
2. All other countries canvas prints: printed on acid-free poly-cotton base, 20.5 mil thick canvas, 470 g/m², with hand glued solid wood stretcher bars, 1.5 inches deep. Mounting brackets are included.
